I'm 100% happy with this filament. No adhesion problems and no stringing when printed at 200C with a 60C heated bed.
PROS: It's a beautiful bright yellow. I actually kept the throwaway support structure (seen in the picture here, in the foreground) for months because it's so pretty I couldn't bear to throw it away. The interior fill pattern of the support structure looks really cool with the translucent filament.
The print in the photo I included with this review is a reduced-size test print of a complicated box I'm working on. I found it helpful to use translucent filament (vs. the black PETG I plan to use for the real final print) so that it's easy to visually inspect. Plus, this test print is just a pretty object because of the color.
CONS: You will hoard everything you print with this filament, like a dragon hoards gold: because it's so pretty, you just want to have it around to look at.
I bought this filament to experiment with printing a RC airplane. I thought the yellow would make it visible. I printed out a couple of good sized wing segments (see photo) with no problems. This consumed about one third of the roll.
After that, everything I tried to print failed.
I did a cold pull and determined there was some debris. I tried again, and about an hour in it failed again. Same type of debris. It looks like some kind of shelac or similar coating got on the filament.
I changed filaments to another brand and the remaining parts printed without problems.
This filament prints beautifully - when it prints. I just can't trust it now.
very good
Had problems at first since I usually run PLA at a much cooler temp, but at 215, the prints were sharp and clean. Also liked how they threw in a nice huge foil ziplock bag to store the spool when not in use. I wish everyone did this.
Compared to some other colors I've bought that print nothing like what they look like... This one looks awesome printed.
