Great Filament

Prints well and looks really nice. Gives off a nice shiny gunmetal look.

Layer adhesion Is Quite Poor

Layer adhesion is quite poor but that is quite the case with most silks, print slow and hot for best results

Came with a care package

First picture: ZIRO dark silver compared to CC3D silver.
Second picture: Print using tricolor sample filament that came with the box.
The filament itself is fine, just as expected, but I was pleasantly surprised at all the goodies that came with it. The reel itself was inside a padded bag inside the box, and there was also an additional resealable bag, 5m of cleaning filament, and a 5m sample of tricolor "steampunk" filament (see second picture). Pretty cool!

This filament prints like a dream

Ive lost track of the different brands and types of filament Ive used in the year or so that Ive been 3d printing. But Ive never had one print so easily as this. Adhesion was wonderful, and final products look smooth and amazing. Ill definitely be buying again.

Good stuff

I bought two rolls of Silk Black in 2021 and just now, in 2023, opened up a roll. Still well sealed. See pic, printed on a Bambu Lab X1C on standard (still 200-300 mm/s). There's some stringing between the posts in the courtyard, but nothing you can't fix with a quick hit from a heat gun. This stuff prints beautifully and seems like more of a graphite or gunmetal, almost looks powder coated. No issues with bed or layer adhesion, prints are strong, stringing is minimal and could probably be tuned out with slicer settings.

Pretty cool finish, I love the graphite color. Works great for dice towers, at least, would probably look great on sci-fi prop parts (SW, video game props, etc). Definitely recommended.
