ZIRO Silk PLA Filament 1.75mm, Violet

The prints come out nice when they adhere. I like this filament, it seems to extrude nicely, the color is good. I have a great deal of issues getting it to stick to the bed. Super extra cleaning for your print bed is needed.

My first print after running a temp tower was this request from a friend. She sent me the link and asked for this color. I'll admit I had never heard of Zero before but this is one of the nicest filaments I'ver ever printed with, regardless of price. It's an incredible deal, especially for the price!

I am shocked this stuff worked. Usually with a low price point the filament is garbage. Not this stuff. Printed perfect on my Sidewinder X2. It is silk so print it about 5 degrees hotter than normal. I liked the stuff so much I bought a second roll. It's nice that they include a storage bag, a sample of cleaning filament and a sample of another random color. I find it to be just as good as TTY3d.

Like a lot of "Silk" colors, this filament is a bit of a pain to print. I had to make sure my hotend temperature was set to the upper bounds of the recommended range, and I still had some brittleness problems, particularly on the bottom layer. (Didn't have the same issue with the same distance settings on a non-silk filament.) But that said, if you aren't going for a structural print (and with silk, you're generally after display!) this stuff is great. The resulting shiny violet color really does look quite close to the provided picture, too.

The color is very beautiful. The printing quality is good, too
