Super easy to print with. Nice bed adhesion. Very strong! The green color is awesome. The texture of printed stuff is really cool!
This says that is is carbin fiber, but I cannot fonfirm. I honestly do not know how to check that. What I do know is that this color is exactally what I was looking for. I wanted and army green, and this fit the bill. This printed like is should, after the usual dialing in process.
This has a nice matte finish for the print, the color is very nice as well. No issues with this roll, using my Prusa mk3 and a steel nozzle. It had great adhesion and came right off the PEI sheet when it was done. The roll was beautifully done with night a tight rolled spool. Can't beat that color or how smooth it came out!
I'm actually pretty impressed with this Military Green Carbon Fiber PLA. The color is perfect if you're printing military models, and the print quality is excellent. The only change you might want to make before you print this is to switch to a steel nozzle, as carbon fiber filaments are abrasive and will wear out a brass nozzle pretty quickly.
The box also included a nice resealable plastic bag for storage, a 5-meter (about 15g) coil of their Macaron Gradient Matte PLA (which is too little to really use, but it is very pretty), and a 5-meter coil of cleaning filament, which qualifies as the most useful freebie any manufacturer has ever included with their filament. I've never used cleaning filament because it's ridiculously expensive, but I will definitely be trying this sample out.
I'm very pleased with this order, and will definitely add Ziro to my list of quality filament manufacturers.
I like the OD green color. But what I like best about this PLA with carbon fiber is that it piggy backs on PLAs ability to resist warping and then magnifies that resistance.
Currently using it to make larger size molds for hand pouring soft plastic baits... it is surviving 320*F liquid plastisol pours of individual baits over 4 ounces without warping with 2.4mm wall and top and bottom and 20% gyroid fill with a 0.8mm ruby nozzle.
Anyhow for those of you who just want cool looking prints this will definitely hit that point for you as well. Easy simple prints using pla setting. Ruby nozzle not required but suggested for longer life of nozzle when dealing with Glass fiber or carbon fiber reinforced filaments.
