ZIRO Translucent PLA Filament 1.75mm, Translucent Orange

I've purchased nine rolls of this according to my purchase list and at first I had a lot of trouble with it like other people did but most recently when I bought this Orange roll I had read the reviews where people said please print at petg temperatures and speeds and when I did I had no trouble whatsoever it printed beautifully and the color is very nice and shiny and very transparent. So I would like to thank the people who said please print this at petg temps because they are correct!

I just started printing with this filament, but out of 5 prints done already, I ran into issues in all of them. 4 ended up salvageable, but one completely failed mid-print.

I noticed some weird noise coming from my extruder, to find out it had issues to pull the filament. I checked with my caliper and the diameter was 1.5mm instead of 1.75mm. I did a few random checks while babysitting the printer and half of the time, it was around 1.5mm and the other half, around 1.75mm. It somehow still did a good look for what I wanted, but I can notice black spots on my prints where the printer had issues picking up the filament.

Dial in your temp for your nozzle first for the filament, print small tests to get the temp dialed in.
a temp tower will work, but i find small 5x10x10mm tall blocks with no infill work better since they do not take long to print and you do not waste much filament plus they will bridge across the top with no infill.
once you do that it prints excellent.
Nozzle temp and printing speed are key for this filament,
print to fast with low temp it will fail, dial it in and no issues.
will buy more translucent colors when i need them.

I really like the consistency and way this filament extrudes nicely and evenly. I was worried about buying some "off" brand but I think it does better than some of my bame branded filaments. Can't complain about it!
