My printer is running almost 24/7 and Ive used a ton of different filaments. This filament is as good as any other PLA that Ive put through my machine, no complaints at all.
I could only obtain bed adhesion after drying the filament with a heated filament dryer, it comes very brittle which is a sign of water absorption despite it being sealed with silica bags. After drying, I achieved 0.1mm layer heights with no problems.
This filament is beautiful!! It prints on par with any other PLA filament. I had one issue with it not adhering to the print bed but that ended up being an issue with my bed height. I'm really enjoying printing with this and will be using it a lot in the near future.
I ordered this filament specifically to make grips for a few of my firearms. I haven't made the grips as of yet, but I did run a couple small test pieces so I could see how this stuff flows. Not disappointed whatsoever. I'm operating at 190 at the nozzle and 80 on the bed. Wanted to print a little higher than usual pla because I wanted to achieve as smooth a blend as possible without chancing any heat distortion. Adhesion is acceptable, minimal stringing, but the color...WOW. that metallic sheen really catches the eye. I can see this stuff being used for cosplay knives, claws, blades or anything else that has a curved edge. It really picks up the light. Try printing with the smoothest skin settings and high line counts. Nice stuff.
This was my first print on my brand new Creality ender 3 v2. After leveling the bed, it was really easy. Printed at 200C and 60C bed.
Great adhesion. Required a lot of scraping snd twisting to get my part off the ender 3 v2 glass build plate.
Metallic flakes are cool. The later height greatly affects finish look. If there was a way to do acetone vapor smoothing like ABS, I'm sure this would look phenomenal. It has kinda a Matte look but with metallic flakes
Filament was in air tight packaging with silica gel. Also included 5m of cleaning filament and a spare storage ziploc bag
